Become a Passholder at Camp Harkness

Be aware, only Connecticut residents with a diagnosed and permanent disability are able to obtain a pass to Camp Harkness.

Not Eligible to Become a Passholder?

There are quite a few annual events where Camp Harkness is open to the public so that we may showcase the benefits of preserving equitable access to the outdoors for all levels of ability and raise awareness of our mission. Outside of these events, this camp is closed to the general public.

Camp Harkness is a dedicated property for use by individuals with disabilities. Please respect this space and its intended purpose.

Benefits of Becoming a Passholder

Visit Camp Harkness    Any Time of the Year

Passholders are able to visit the camp any day of the year between sunrise and sunset, just like a state park! There is never an entry fee. When visiting, all you need to do is make sure your camp parking pass is displayed on your rear view mirror and you have your white key card to enter.

Bring Up To 5 Guests per Passholder

Passholders are encouraged to share the joy of the outdoors. For every one passholder, they may bring five guests and two vehicles for a total of six people at camp.

Make Reservations to Camp Overnight

Passholders are able to reserve up to two weeks a year in the cabins, cottages, and tentsites. We recommend you make your reservations at the start of the calendar year as space fills up quickly! Dates and locations are subject to change based on availability,
